How many Fundamental Duties are mentioned in the Indian Constitution?

There are 11 Fundamental Duties in the Indian Constitution, listed under Article 51A. These duties were first introduced by the 42nd Amendment Act, 1976, based on the recommendations of the Swaran Singh Committee.

Originally, there were 10 duties, but the 86th Amendment Act, 2002 added one more making it a citizen’s duty to ensure education for children between 6 and 14 years of age.
