Eligibility Criteria
Every woman in Odisha who wants to apply for the Subhadra Yojana must meet the following eligibility criteria to avail the benefits of the scheme.
- Women Must live in Odisha.
- Should have an NFSA/SFSS card or family income below Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Age must be between 21 and 60 years, as per Aadhaar.
- For 2024-25, birthdate must be between 02.07.1964 and 01.07.2003.
- Women turning 21 after 01.07.2024 will get Rs. 10,000 per year for the rest of the scheme period.
- Women turning 60 after 01.07.2024 won’t get benefits after that year.
Who should not apply for Subhadra Yojana?
Women will not be eligible for the scheme if they or their family members fall under the following categories:
- Receiving financial assistance of ₹1500 per month or ₹18,000 per year or more from any government scheme.
- A current or former MP, MLA, or elected public representative (excluding Ward Member/Councillor).
- An income tax payer.
- Employed as a regular or contractual employee in State/Central Government, PSU, or similar bodies, or receiving a pension after retirement (except ASHA, Anganwadi Workers, etc.).
- An owner of a four-wheeler (excluding tractors, mini-trucks, and light goods vehicles).
- Family owns more than 5 acres of agricultural land or 10 acres of non-agricultural land.
